    The Restaurant Manager assists the Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) in the day-to-day operations of Eataly’s full-service restaurants. Reports to the Restaurant AGM and oversees front-of-house restaurant staff including servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, bussers and barbacks.

    Supports the Restaurant AGM with hiring, assigning, training, evaluating and terminating employeesDocuments, investigates, escalates and resolves all employee and guests incidentsEnsures exceptional service standards are consistently met and that activities are carried out effectivelyInspects dining room and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsEstimates front-of-house food and beverage needs, and supervises intake orders to ensure specificationsReviews financial information such as sales, inventory and costs to monitor budgetMeets with dining room and bar personnel to plan restaurant activities, special events, share information, etc.Performs other duties as required or assignedQualifications

    2+ years of experiencing leading or managing a front-of-house restaurant teamUnderstanding of steps of serviceOutstanding communication, leadership and problem-solving skillsBachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferredKnowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage highly preferred

The Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Manager assists with supervising and running the day-to-day operations of the QSR counters.

    The QSR Manager is responsible for the daily operations and overall performance of the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business. This role emphasizes operational excellence, financial performance, and team execution while ensuring compliance with food safety, coffee service, and production standards. Reports directly to the Store Operations Manager and supervises the QSR staff of service leads, baristas and sales associates.

    Maintains a steady leadership presence on the floor during peak periods, interacting with guests, team members and vendors to ensure Eataly’s operations are running smoothly, efficiently, and high hospitality standards are metDrive accountability for performance, food safety, and operational execution across the teamSupervise and support Assistant Manager and hourly team members.Build and manage team schedules in alignment with labor budgets and productivity targets
    Monitor and manage cost of goods (COGS), waste, and overall financial performanceOversee ordering, inventory management, and vendor coordination, with emphasis on coffee and beverage suppliesMonitor production consistency for all menu items, including specialty coffee and beverage offeringsReview and analyze weekly reports (sales, labor, productivity) and implement action plans as needed.Partner with HR and Store Leadership on hiring, training, and staffing decisionsEnsure full compliance with Serve Safe standards and Bassett, health, safety, and sanitation protocolsPartner cross-functionally with other department leaders to ensure operational alignment, supporting store-wide initiatives and operational prioritiesPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualifications

    Compensation for this role is $65,000-$70,000 per year.

    Eataly’s bustling marketplaces contain a variety of quick service counters featuring coffee and drinks, pastries and gelato, pizza and focaccia, paninis and grab-and-go meal options. The Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Lead assists with supervising and running the day-to-day operations of the QSR counters. Reports to the QSR General Manager and the QSR Assistant General Managers; supervises QSR Sales Associates and Baristas.

    Maintains a steady leadership presence on the floor, interacting with guests, team members and vendors to ensure Eataly’s operations are running smoothly and high hospitality standards are metTrains, motivates, mentors and organizes team membersPurchases supplies, beverages and equipment per the direction of the QSR General ManagerMonitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the departmentManages transactions and ensures accurate accountingRecords shift notes and assists with administrative duties such as scheduling when neededEnsures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standardsDocuments, investigates and resolves guest incidentsPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualifications

    High school graduate or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in food serviceMath skills and ability to handle money accuratelyStrong knowledge of steps of serviceExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of coffee and coffee productionKnowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred

    The hourly rate for this role is $21-23 an hour + tips (pooled).
