Eastern Metal Works in an AISC Certified Fabricator and AISC Certified Erector of structural steel and miscellaneous metals. Eastern Metal Works is a well-established, highly accomplished company serving the General Contractors and Developers in Connecticut and the surrounding markets for over 40 years. EMW manages projects large and small with subcontract values up to and exceeding $5,000,000. In recent years, EMW has gradually increased its staff as part of its strategic plan for growth. Continuing that plan, EMW is actively looking to add another experienced Project Manager for several larger projects. The ideal candidate would have 5 or more years of project management experience or other related construction experience.
· Represent EMW at the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
· Develop strong relationships with our clients project managers and superintendents
· Develop and manage project schedules with EMW Clients
o Manage shop drawing submittals and approvals to meet schedule requirements
o Coordinate with steel detailers and review shop drawings
· Coordinate fabrication and delivery schedules with EMW Shop Production Manager
· Coordinate with EMW purchasing manager to ensure materials are purchased to satisfy production requirements
· Coordinate schedule and manpower requirements with the Field General
· Regularly visit jobsites and attend subcontractor meetings
· Review Foreman’s Daily Reports with the EMW Field General
o Review field production to date. Evaluate against EMW projected progress
o Review Daily Photos to make sure they represent accurate reflection of EMW work
o Encourage forward planning / projections
· Review project cost reports
o Prepare projected costs to complete and assess projected profitability
· Coordinate with Accounting to ensure timely billing in accordance with job progress
· Coordinate with Estimating to develop and submit change orders if/when necessary
· Generate a Monthly Status Report for active projects and present to senior management

Main responsibility is to keep the production equipment running safely, correctly and efficiently at all times. In addition to this they must maintain the appearance of the plant and surrounding grounds. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION :
