Job Overview
The main role is a customer orientated position for both internal and external customers for all aspects of the social and corporate catering sales field. Co-ordinates all aspects from initial enquiry through to booking, planning, obtaining pertinent information relative to events inquired by or booked by customer and communicates all conference related information to hotel colleagues in an accurate and timely manner. This is to ensure the customer receives excellent product, service and value.
A secondary purpose is to coordinate all aspects of conferences (sold by Sales Department) as assigned by Director of department and communicates all conference related information to hotel team members in an accurate and timely manner.

Delivers the brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.Provides excellent service to internal customers.Handles all guest and employee complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. Communicates immediately all guest and employee complaints to the Director of Banquets.Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

Check shipment by comparing it with Daily Order Sheet and invoice to ensure that what we are receiving as orderedFill out an error correction, when necessary, in duplicate to assure proper credit for amount of discrepancy and notify leaderHandle daily inventory of goods as assigned and files Storeroom requisitions as necessaryCleans the storeroom and other assigned areasResponsible for providing receiving record and invoice/packing slips to accounts payable

Organizes, confirms, processes, and conducts all guest check-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellationsGreets guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Uses a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understands requests, responds with appropriate actions and provides accurate information such as outlet hours and local attractionsRuns and reviews daily reports/logsResponsible for all aspects of the night audit process such as, but not limited to: credit card and cash consolidation, actioning credit limit report, settling all hotel house accounts, audit all restaurant and bar receipts, reviewing open folios and settling, and reviewing adjustment report to ensure proper adjustments have been madeHandle all guest complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
