    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Assists Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions.Counts, packages, and labels unit doses for inspection.Performs a range of routine administrative tasks for the pharmacy as required.Receives and stores incoming drugs and supplies.Utilizes pharmacy software to input prescriptions and submit insurance claims compliant with state and federal regulations.Assists patients with filling prescription requests via pharmacy software, telephone, walk-in, and eClinical encounters.Communicates with other medical team members and patients on a professional level.Performs medication therapy tasks in MTM Outcomes.Utilizes the point-of-sale system to verify the correct patient and complete the sale of the prescription.Cleans and maintains pharmacy equipment based on manufacturer suggestions or board of pharmacy regulations.Reconstitutes powdered medications such as antibiotics for children according to the drug manufacturer formulation.Performs other duties as instructed by Pharmacist.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma.Current Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy licensure for Pharmacy technician.Active Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification (CPhT) requiredAbility to input data on the computer.Be able to read prescriptions including recognizing medication names and directions for use.Good communication skills with other medical team members and patients.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients and families.Obtain and document complete medical histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations.Assess, diagnose, treat, and monitor acute and chronic medical conditions.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Arkansas laws and organizational policies.Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory, diagnostic, and imaging studies.Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.Promote preventive healthcare services, including immunizations and age-appropriate screenings.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.Comply with all organizational, state, federal, and accreditation requirements.

    Work Arrangement

    This position is primarily clinic-based to support direct patient care and collaboration with the healthcare team. However, limited remote work may be approved for eligible duties such as telehealth visits, documentation, patient follow-up, and administrative responsibilities, based on operational needs and supervisor approval.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
