We are the complete one-stop shop for Appliances, Cabinetry, Doors and Door Hardware, Lighting, Slab, Tile, and Wood Flooring. We currently have three physical Showroom locations throughout the North-West Region.     The JobThe Plumbing/Appliance Assistant works directly with the Plumbing/Appliance Team Lead in supporting their efforts made to successfully complete Plumbing/Appliance projects both locally and regionally. The Plumbing/Appliance Assistant develops, maintains, and interacts with a broad scope of new and existing customers and clientele within the department to increase sales of products and services. The Plumbing/Appliance Assistant performs activities associated with selling, client selections, design, ordering, and overall management of a specialized department that requires knowledge of a specialized nature.  Welcoming clients by greeting them, helping, and engaging clients through conversation to determine needsProviding clients with excellent customer service alwaysShowroom Product Knowledge and ability to assist other department colleagues to provide additional items or services for customersAssist homeowner and/or trade with design needs based on the individual project products and required applicationUnderstanding/Reading Architectural PlansCreating estimates for materials and install and meeting bid deadlinesTracking and maintaining job opportunities via Design Schedule softwareUsing Computer Programs to include: Outlook, Elements, Bluebeam, 2020, AutoCad, and other programs specified to the departmentMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of current trends, markets, and product linesWorking closely with accounting and informing accounting on status of projects for correct invoicingFollow up with clients on any open A/RCreate, track and manage purchase orders to vendorsParticipating in local activities as required (i.e. Home Show, Parade of Homes, others)Participating in own professional developmentParticipating in opening and closing procedures to include use of the alarm systemAnswering phones and directing calls appropriatelyOrdering and labeling samplesKeeping showroom and Plumbing/Appliance areas organizedPerforms related duties as requiredPerform additional duties, as required The ideal candidate has the following competencies: Communication Proficiency, Computer Proficiency/Technical Capacity, Time Management, Quality Focus, Results Driven, and Supply Management. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.This job operates in a warehouse and job-site setting, with outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, and heavy machinery (i.e. forklifts). The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a sedentary role; however, lifting of approximately 25 pounds with occasional lifting of small objects and samples; sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and finger dexterity. This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with additional hours and schedule changes as needed for business purposes. Travel is primarily local, up to 1 hour driving distance during the business day may be expected. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, per insurance eligibility requirements.
    RequirementsA high school diploma or equivalent is required, bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Design preferredExperience within the building, design, or architecture industry preferredKnowledge of product areas and lines, preferredMust be proficient in Math and EnglishClean driving record, able to meet insurability qualifications

    The Earth Elements Stone Fabrication Shop is a state-of-the-art digital stone fabrication shop. Serving the Bozeman and Big Sky Area. With 20,000 square feet and multiple digital machines, we are the largest operator in the area. Our Stone Fabrication Shop serves the Design Center next door. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to join this fast-growing company. Earth Elements Design Center supplies high-end custom home interior finishes to the building industry. We are a complete one-stop shop with Appliances, Cabinetry, Doors and Door Hardware, Lighting, Slab, Tile, and Wood Flooring.

    The JobPerform all functions necessary to complete the installation of Natural and Engineered stone countertops and use of various finishing goods on construction sites while adhering to strict company quality standards. Ensure all projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinate with the Lead Installer and other team members to improve the quality of projects installed. Perform a final walk-through of each project and verify that Earth Elements Fabrication standards have been met. Use a "leave no trace" mindset to ensure the entire job site is cleaned thoroughly to uphold Earth Element’s quality standards. Communicate professionally with clients and other team members while on site. 
    RequirementsDriver’s License required and ability to meet insurability criteria required.  Strong attention to detail, organized, neat, and clean. Able to communicate and act professionally with clients. Some previous building knowledge is a plus. Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 75 lbs., frequently move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. and use of heavy machinery for equipment up to 1,000 lbs.  Regularly stand, walk, and use hand tools.  This is a job that involves the need to be able to feel objects, tools, and controls.  Exposed to both indoor and outdoor elements.Learn more about us on our website at https://earthelements.com/about/careers.
