Position Summary
Early Resultz Learning Center is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment while implementing age-appropriate curriculum and supervising classroom activities. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement daily lesson plans and educational activities.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.Supervise and engage children throughout the day.Monitor and document children's developmental progress.Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's growth and daily activities.Ensure compliance with all Virginia childcare licensing regulations.Guide and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff.Foster positive behavior and encourage social-emotional development.Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.Previous experience working in a licensed childcare center.Strong classroom management and communication skills.Ability to pass background checks and meet Virginia licensing requirements.CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
