RESPONSIBILITIES:
Taking a residential title file from inception through closing with persistent attention to detail and follow up.Ensuring compliance with contracts, settlement statements, mortgages, deeds, and policies of title insurance.Verifying that monetary amounts are correct to satisfy all mortgages, taxes and judgments, and overseeing the collection of all fees and charges associated with the settlement.Preparing and reviewing documents necessary for settlement.Coordinating with buyers, sellers and real estate agents to obtain all of the information necessary to facilitate a smooth settlement experience.Reviewing all legal documentation to ensure that it is accurate, properly notarized and recorded, and prepared and submitted in proper form.Updating proprietary software with follow-ups, results, and other data entry.REQUIRED SKILLS:
1-2 years of working knowledge of the Real Estate and or Title IndustryAttention to detailProactiveExcellent communication skillsIntegrityOrganizationTeamworkProficiency in Qualia preferredActive notary preferredExceptional ability to prioritizeForward thinking with an ability to work proactively.The Pre-Closing Processor is a full-time position with competitive benefits.
