Key ResponsibilitiesTriage incoming patients to determine priority and severity of conditions.Obtain patient health histories and vital signs, documenting all information accurately in patient charts with close attention to current conditions.Perform phlebotomy and in-house laboratory procedures and record results appropriately.Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with office procedures, including laceration repairs.Administer prescribed injectable and oral medications and monitor patients for reactions and responses.Educate patients regarding illnesses, treatment plans, and medications, including distribution of educational materials and answering patient questions.Ensure laboratory reports are included in patient charts and reviewed by providers.Obtain signed medical releases when appropriate.Adhere to all established company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
