Machine Operator Hours & Key Responsibilities
Shift Times: 7:00 pm-7:30 am (C shifts). Rotating 12-hour shifts with a 3-day weekend every other weekend!

Follows plant safety procedures and guidelinesKnow emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc. Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredUnderstands and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out proceduresInforms supervisors of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediatelyTask
Testing and visually inspects machinery and equipmentTroubleshooting machinery and equipmentDismantling of defective machines and equipment and installation of new or repaired partsCleaning and/or lubricating of shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machineryInstalling and repairing of electrical apparatus as determined by training and skill set of technicianPerforms the following type of maintenance activities: Advanced electrical work, facility repairs, hydraulic, pneumatic and pump repairs and maintenance, basic to advanced HVAC, masonry, carpentry and plumbing, and basic to advanced PLCFollow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMP'sQualifications
