The Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Job Coach is responsible for providing 1:1 support in individuals homes and workplaces, with a focus on achieving goals and building independence. The DSP/Job Coach will help individuals stay active and engaged by providing transportation to fun community events, work, hobbies, appointments, shopping trips, and other outings / errands. In the home, the DSP/Job Coach will assist with a variety of household duties including cleaning, laundry, meal prep, budgeting and establishing routines. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality health care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities within Dungarvin's residential group home programs. This position will primarily be located on-site in Eugene, OR with travel once per week to Portland, OR (mileage reimbursed).
The RN's main functions for this role will be to provide primary health care, monitor health conditions, plan long-term care needs, advise direct support staff, and provide continuity of care.
Conduct routine site visits with individuals supported, checking vitals, doing assessments, counseling of medication administration, and documenting progress. Ensure that everyone receives quality, individualized health care management, resulting in their optimal health. Assure health care documentation and reporting meets licensing, contracting requirements, and organizational policy and that all medical record keeping is accurate and complete. Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do:
As an Employment Support Specialist (Job Coach), you’ll provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities as they explore, secure, and succeed in competitive, integrated employment. You’ll be a mentor, advocate, and partner in helping others reach their goals through:
Meeting clients in their homes and community to build trust and connection
Conducting career assessments that focus on individual strengths, skills, and interests
Helping develop or revise resumes, practice interviews, and identify job leads
Supporting onboarding and training with new employers
Providing ongoing coaching to promote job retention and personal growth
Attending team meetings, writing progress reports, and maintaining clear communication

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) works in a residential group home setting and is responsible for providing direct care, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a manner that ensures their health, safety, successful achievement of service objectives, and personal goals.
Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care. Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Prepare meals and snacks.Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties. Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices.Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors when needed. As a DSP you would coach and foster engagement by leading workshops designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities. DSP’s mentor and continuously engage individuals and lead groups through art, music, games, audio/visual, cooking, reading and other life enrichment activities. Required (Must-Have)
High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
