    SUMMARY:

    The Sales & Business Development Representative's main responsibility is to grow sales by prospecting and selling primarily new survey supplies and construction instruments.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Locate and acquire new survey and construction customers in the greater Charlotte Metro regionCustomer targets include Surveyors, Graders, Utility Contractors, Concrete Contractors, General Contractors, and other construction entitiesConcentrate primarily on survey consumables (i.e., stakes, paint, flagging, etc.) and construction instruments (i.e., optical hardware, rotary lasers, pipe lasers, etc.)Work with the Sales Manager and office personnel to learn the existing customer base and who best to pursue for new sales and delivery, as well as to serve as additional coverage in the officeLog contacts and opportunities in SalesforceCreate quotes and communicate with the delivery rep and other necessary office personnel for processing ordersHelp maintain showroom with survey supplies and construction instrumentsActively participate in appropriate networking events that support and contribute to Duncan-Parnell sales growthStay current with product knowledge and trendsAchieve the assigned geographic sales quotaAdditional tasks as assigned
