A strong predictor of success for an Electrical Estimator would be to be organized, have excellent math skills, work well within a team, meet deadlines consistently, and have a desire to grow a career in the construction industry. An Associate Electrical Estimator will need to learn how to complete accurate estimates within the required bid cycles.Working knowledge of construction, design, finance, and some project management would be preferred. Project estimates will typically range from $500 to $100 million.

The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing projects from conception through completion whole ensuring optimal efficiency and quality in all processes. Projects will vary in size, will be industrial in nature, and involve various industries. This individual will report directly to the Manufacturing and Prefabrication Manager.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop electrical estimates to accurately forecast project costs and resources.Managing project budgets ranging from $1,000 to $10.0M.Create detailed designs and shop drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, ensuring all specifications meet industry standards and client requirements.Review and approve project drawings and designs, ensuring compliance with all safety codes and regulations.Generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and oversee the ordering of necessary materials.Lead project execution, coordinating with both the design team and field personnel to ensure timely and on-budget project completion.Collaborate with the design team on both prefab and field projects, enhancing integration and efficiency.Conduct regular project reviews and adjustments as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.Traveling for this position may be required, estimated at 5%-10%.Other duties may be assigned.

    Dubak Electrical Group is growing and in search of an experienced Industrial Electrical Foreman. This role will be responsible for the on-site management of assigned construction projects and field personnel to ensure the scheduled completion of the project within the established budget, time and quality standards while following standard operating procedures. The Foreman will lead a team of up to three (3) apprentices, and or a group of up to ten (10) Journeyman Electricians to plan layout, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment and maximize productivity.

    Internal Reporting: Reports to the General Foreman, Superintendent, and Operations Manager.

    External Reporting: Effectively interacts with owners, clients, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors, and others who are associated with project related activities. Depending on the foreman's level of experience, they may have 1-13 direct reports.

    The ideal candidate will have worked in an industrial environment and have experience with the primary job duties listed in this description. The primary job expectations will include but not be limited to:

    Helps to establish performance goals and reviews project documents, plans, and specifications in order to effectively direct construction activities. Apply effective and quality electrical techniques to maximize performance.Resolves conflicts related to construction of the project as well as personnel concerns. Promote a positive team work environment.Maintains safe work practices in accordance to OSHA, Dubak Electrical, and Client Site Specific Safety Standards. Conducts a Daily Safety Huddle. Assure the Safety of ALL Dubak Electrical Employees on the project.Demonstrates proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.Avoids unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
    Understand and coordinate installation methods of civil, mechanical, and electrical works, as to prevent physical interference of the final installed product between the three installation types.Provides technical assistance to colleagues or co-workers (i.e., interpretation of drawings) and recommends construction methods, routing, equipment, as challenges present themselves, and as requiredWorks well under pressure. Ability to plan, schedule, and organize tasks in an efficient manner in order to meet deadlines. Directs and trains helpers and apprentices in proper work practices in order to meet production requirements.Ability to determine project scopes by reading and reviewing drawings.Reads and understands labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals, and written instructions accurately.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Coordinates field installations and project close-outs, as well as develops and maintains customer/client relationships. UnderstandsDubak Supervision, and customers needs through communication to provide confidence in scope and execution abilities.

    Primary Skill Expectations:


    Manage a team of electrical journeyman and apprentices on assigned projectsOversees or participates in wire installation with conduit and cable traysMeasures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit, using such tools as hacksaw, pipe threader, and conduit bender.Able to accurately bend and install all types of conduit. Understands use of degrees in bending conduit (i.e. concentric bending)
    Installs control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power toolsConnects power cables to equipment, such as electric apparatus or motor, and installs grounding leadsDemonstrates knowledge of proper circuit grounding practices, transformer connections, over-current protection, parallel circuits, fuse/circuit breakers, motors, cable trays and their supportsSplices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads with knife or pliers, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal capsTest continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using testing instruments, such as digital multi-meter, circuit tracing, toner, etcPerforms work at various heights, up to 90'; from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, roofs, or other safe work areas
