We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at a grain processing facility. This is a long-term employment opportunity for a dependable individual with strong mechanical skills and experience maintaining industrial equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machinery, rotating equipment, bearings, belts, welding, and fabrication, and be committed to maintaining safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime.Inspect, replace, and maintain bearings, belts, motors, conveyors, and other rotating equipment.Perform welding and basic fabrication repairs as needed.Install, align, and adjust mechanical components.Read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications.Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.Schedule Requirements:
Open availability is required.Must be able to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Overtime may be required based on operational needs.Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, grain processing, or industrial environment preferred.Experience working with industrial machinery, rotating equipment, bearings, belts, conveyors, pumps, and motors.Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in an industrial environment.Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.This is a long-term career opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Technician looking to grow with a stable and fast-paced grain processing operation.
