ABOUT THIS POSITION
The First Class Fitter III plays a key role in the fabrication, assembly, and alignment of metal structures, components, and equipment. This position requires advanced technical knowledge, precision, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality workmanship. The Fitter III will perform layout and fitting of large assemblies with minimal supervision, mentor less experienced fitters, and work closely with welders, engineers, and production teams to meet project schedules and quality standards.
MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES
Works safely in an industrial environment and around machinery; observes and instructs others in proper equipment use.Follows all safety rules and regulations as well as all company policies and procedures; uses/wears all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for assigned tasks.Ensures all work meets the guidelines and specifications of a first class fitter; including layout (comprehensive knowledge) and burning.Reads, understands and works from drawings with minimal supervision with the ability to make simple modification drawings and complete work as necessary.Completes all steel work needed to complete projects.Performs first class welding in all positions with flux cord and stick.Work includes set-up, laying out work using fixtures and guides to repair, modify, or fabricate parts and/or equipment products.Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirement.Assists with all aspects of construction to complete projects.Requisitions materials needed to complete projects in accordance to DSC procedures.Travels as required to customer sites to perform modifications and maintenance of equipment as needed.Maintains level of work performance in accordance with DSC's standards and/or production deadline specifications with minimal supervision.Meets all project deadlines; complete all assignments in a timely fashion to meet production deadlines.Works overtime and/or weekends as requested.Maintains confidentially of informationMaintains a clean, safe and organized work area at all timesDemonstrates leadership skills and sets positive examples for all manufacturing personnelTrains and evaluates others in you field and under your supervisionTack welding and some minor welding on an as needed basisPerforms all duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The RoleWe are looking for an Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist to own quality across DSC’s electrical systems from incoming switchgear, transformers, and control panels to in-process wiring, terminations, and final functional testing. You will work alongside the Electrical Department, Engineering, and customers to ensure every dredge’s electrical systems, including installations up to 12VDC TO 13.8kV, meet national and international electrical codes, DSC Standards, and project contract requirements.
What You Will DoInspect and participate in testing of electrical equipment — switchgear, transformers, motors, control panels, and conduit/cable systems for conformance with drawings, schematics, specifications, and National Electrical Code.Verification of materials, connections, grounding, lugs and torque.Participate in electrical testing including, but not limited to insulation resistance, continuity, hi-pot, VLF, Ducter and functional tests on electrical components and systems ahead of final testing and product release. The RoleWe are looking for a Project manager to track and coordinate dredge builds through every stage of the manufacturing process. From project turnover through sales, production, testing and delivery. Major Responsibilities
