Minimum Education and Skills:
CT State Licensure in Dental Hygiene, Local Anesthesia License, CPR Certified Current in OSHA required certificationsDetail oriented and possess excellent interpersonal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasksSelf-motivated with the ability to exceed patient expectationsExperience with Dentrix and Dexis Software
1-3 years of work experience preferred, but new graduates will be highly considered
Responsibilities:
Possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills required to form long-lasting, authentic relationships with patients.Perform comprehensive dental hygiene exams, oral cancer screenings, periodontal charting and airway assessments.Perform periodontal scaling and root planing and administer local anesthesia.Provide oral hygiene instructions and patient education regarding dental needs and recommendations.Take accurate digital dental x-rays and panoramic x-rays.Provide the highest level of science based care to our patients.
