    Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal and external partners (e.g. loan officer assistant, loan opener, loan processor, underwriter, referral partners, escrow, title, etc.) on behalf of the applicant as needed to make sure the loan transaction goes through successfully Monitor sales pipeline, meet sales expectations/SLAs, get referrals, and generate new business opportunities Create personal relationships with clients - offer additional information and answer questions about home mortgage products Create and explain mortgage coach presentations for clients (total cost analyses) Package files to send to the loan openers/processing staff Lock loans, structure files, and review final closing disclosures (CDs) with clients Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited institution 1+ year of experience working in a remote environment 1+ year of experience as a mortgage loan originator Experience with Encompass Willingness and ability to participate in a weekend on-call schedule rotation 1-2x/month Superb relationship, sales, communication, and MS Office skills Intermediate understanding of loan program guidelines and various types of loans such as Conventional, FHA, VA, and down-payment assistance loans Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 2+ years of experience working in a remote environment 2+ years of experience as a mortgage loan originator Licensure with the NMLS in CO, TX, and any other states Experience with Encompass, Simple Nexus, Optimal Blue, and Mortgage Coach Willingness and ability to participate in a weekend on-call schedule rotation 1-2x/month Superb relationship, sales, communication, and MS Office skills Intermediate understanding of loan program guidelines and various types of loans such as Conventional, FHA, VA, and down-payment assistance loans Benefits:

  • Branch Manager / Senior Escrow Officer

    The Branch Manager / Senior Escrow Officer for DF Title, LLC dba Golden Dog Title & Trust will build and lead a high-performing full-service title and escrow agency. As a key leader, you will oversee the daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery to our parent company, Dream Finders Homes, Inc. (NASDAQ: DFH), in a manner compliant with Golden Dog Title & Trust policies and procedures in the state of Colorado. We welcome applications from Transactional Real Estate Attorneys who are interested in a leadership role within the title and escrow industry. While this experience is not required, we encourage qualified attorneys to apply, as your expertise could bring additional value to our team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serving as the Designated On-Site Manager for the title insurance agent and administering and managing day-to-day operations at the license holder's principal place of business in Colorado Serving as a licensed and appointed Escrow Officer for the title insurance agency. Reviewing CD/HUD-1 and all other closing documents for quality control (May also prepare closing documents, review title, send binders, fund loans, and assist other branches with the multi-state transactions). Directs and manages workflow. Ability to resolve title issues (e.g. corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes and encroachments) Understands state real estate regulations and guidelines. Prepare related reports and audits current procedures to monitor efficiency of operations. Maintains relationship with vendor partners to develop business opportunities, aligning branch goals with business unit goals. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains cordial relationship with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers and sellers to promote/solicit business. Adheres to company policies and guidelines. Experience, Skills, Knowledge: 5 or more years of Title & Escrow experience. Colorado Escrow License and Notary are required. Two to three years of management experience required. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic finance skills to be able to understand and interpret financial statements. SoftPro experience a plus Builder Title experience preferred. Physical Demands: While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
