    Job DescriptionJob Description

    We are seeking an experienced commercial pedestrian door installer to join our field team. In this role, you will handle the hands-on installation, servicing, and replacement of various commercial pedestrian entry systems, including hollow metal doors, aluminum storefront doors, wood doors, frames, and heavy-duty architectural hardware.

     

    Installation & Retrofitting: Install commercial pedestrian doors, steel/wood frames, and glass storefront entry systems in a variety of commercial and industrial settings.Hardware Setup: Mount, adjust, and troubleshoot commercial hardware including panic bars, door closers, continuous hinges, mag-locks, and exit devices.Field Modifications: Accurately measure, cut, shim, and modify existing openings or doors to ensure a perfect fit and smooth operation.Customer Service: Act as the face of Doors Done Right on the job site—communicating professionally with general contractors, building managers, and business owners.Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean work area and strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and local building codes.

    What We're Looking For (Requirements)

    Experience: Minimum of [Insert Years, e.g., 2-3 years] of experience specifically in commercial pedestrian door installation or commercial carpentry.Technical Skills: Proficient with power tools, lasers, levels, and evaluating door plumb, square, and alignment.Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work from ladders/scaffolding, and stand for extended periods.Logistics: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (you will be driving a company service vehicle).Tools: Must have your own basic hand tools (specialty tools provided by the company).
