The ideal candidate is a hands-on property management professional for single-family/multi-family affordable housing, based in the Greater Cleveland area and working directly with our backoffice team for support. Highly motivated and responsible problem solver, with strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Perform and/or assist in day-to-day property management operations, including but not limited to:
· Leasing: Coordinate and attend property showings, tenant selection & placement
· Section 8: tenant placement, collect/complete agency paperwork, coordinate required inspection repairs
· Collections: post 3-day notices, negotiate payment plans
· Evictions & Squatter Removal: attend court hearings, coordinate taking possession of properties
· Compliance: oversee lead inspections & repairs
· Construction & Maintenance: prepare project estimates & oversee project completion with contractors
· Utilities: assist with utilities management & required appointments
· Manage day-to-day tenant relations
Qualifications:
· 2+ year of relevant experience in residential property management in Ohio (tenant management, leasing, Section 8)
· College degree is highly valued
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
· Detail-oriented
