  Job Summary:
  The Sort Associate is responsible for capturing the details of every IT asset DMD receives. This is a primary service we offer to our customers that helps with their reconciliation and demonstrating responsible disposition of their electronics. Based on the item, the condition, and customer needs, this role determines the next phase of the process. This requires the ability to consult decision matrices and interpret incomplete information to maximize the value of each asset.
  
  Key Responsibilities:

  Capture associated IT asset data and enter into our systemDetermine the next phase of the process for each itemOrganize equipment based on type, value, or other criteria as necessarySeparate items based on resale or recycleRecommendations and actions to improve the department and outcomesOffsite projects as appropriateOther duties as necessary and assigned

  Education and Experience:

  High school diploma, GED, or equivalentComputer basics including data entryMust have great communication skills, be detailed-oriented, and consistencyPrevious warehouse experience preferred

  Physical Requirements:

  May include standing for long periods of time, squatting, twisting, bending, and lifting between 10-50 lbs. (or more) regularly.Reasonable accommodations will be made, enabling individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  Employment Details:
