    Description

    Summary:

    Janitorial staff perform a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the restaurant looking perfect. Ideal candidates should have basic maintenance knowledge around building repairs and some experience cleaning.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    General cleaning of the restaurant and keeping it maintained and in good condition. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Cleaning and stock restrooms. Ensure doors are locked after hours. Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Perform minor repairs. Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs. Collect and dispose of trash. Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Keep cleaning supplies in stock. Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
    Position Requirements

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    Ability to manage your time efficiently. Work well when supervisors are not present. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning, and other janitorial work. Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies. Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
    EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    At least six months of related experience preferred High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers, to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear. The Team Member will be occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

    Summary:

    The FOH Shift Supervisor acts as a working team 'lead' for the FOH Team but does not have salaried management responsibilities. The FOH Shift Supervisor is expected to uphold all company policies, protocols, and procedures and demonstrate a high level of integrity and leadership within the team. As an extension of management, a FOH Shift supervisor is an experienced FOH Team Member and a resource for other Team Members within the restaurant. As a FOH Shift Supervisor, you will uphold all job duties to the highest professional and business standards at all times by promoting DRG's Core Pillars and providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Conduct table visits throughout the shift to ensure guest satisfaction. Assists with Guest recovery to ensure all issues are resolved prior to the Guests leaving the restaurant. Assists management with Guest experience and loyalty development. Maintains good energy and positive image to the Guests and staff during the shift. Assists management with training and developing Team Members. Enthusiastically encourages the team to deliver the highest level of Hospitality per DRG's Core Pillars of Sustained Success. Assists management in achieving targeted budgets, goals, and objectives. Displays ownership of DRG's vision, values, and Leadership. Demonstrates solid knowledge of Policies and Procedures Demonstrates thorough recipe knowledge and awareness of food and beverage quality/safety. Responsible for reporting any misconduct or violations of company policy to GM, DO, and Human Resources. Responsible for completing all shift check lists, daily paperwork, and routines within the restaurant. Ensures the profitability of restaurant operations by operating within food costs, and labor productivity guidelines.
    Position Requirements

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    1 year of Casual Dining, Upscale Casual Dining or Fine Dining Experience. Strong communication skills, with enthusiasm and a passion for hospitality. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate, assist and identify training and development opportunities for Team Members. Professional conduct.
    Educational/Experience Requirements:
    At least six months of related experience preferred. High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred. Responsible Liquor Service Certificate.

    Description

    Line Cooks play a key role in delivering the superior food and service that is central to the mission of Eddie Merlot's. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing high quality food in a timely, efficient, and sanitary manner. Accountabilities include: adhering to Eddie Merlot's Policies and Procedures manual; following Eddie Merlot's standard recipes, procedures, and presentation specifications; meeting food and occupational safety standards; and following guidelines for producing exceptional food with minimal waste. Line Cooks maintain their stations in a clean and orderly manner and partner with Prep Cooks, Butchers, Dishwashers, Runners, Managers, and other team members to ensure that each and every guest receives outstanding food and hospitality.

    Responsibilities
    Complete and pass required training modules - both initial and ongoing. Know the weekly work schedule, arrive at work on time, and meet standards for uniform and professional appearance. Communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef to learn about nightly specials, guest flow, banquets, or special events. Set up station in accordance with standard procedures and carry out food preparation assignments. Re-stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products throughout the shift. Handle, store, and rotate products in accordance with standard procedures. Produce food items, following Eddie Merlot's standard recipes, portion control standards, temperature and presentation specifications, sanitation procedures, and timing guidelines. Prepare food dishes for guests with food allergies or intolerances. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized work station throughout the shift. Perform side and closing duties as assigned, following checklists. Assist with sanitary food storage, cleaning, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas. Follow established reporting procedures for re-cooks, spills and wastage, problems, incidents, and accidents. Demonstrate teamwork at all times by communicating openly with others and looking for opportunities to assist other team members as needed. Cross-train and willingly help in other stations and kitchen roles as needed. Follow all Eddie Merlot's Policies and Procedures and guidelines for station requirements and workplace behavior. Attend team meetings. Communicate information regarding guest requests or complaints and ideas for improvement to Managers. Follow all policies and procedures, station standards and guidelines, and regulations related to food handling, sanitation and safety. Experienced Line Cooks may assist with training and supervision. Demonstrate teamwork at all times by communicating openly with others and looking for opportunities to assist other team members as needed. Cross-train and willingly help in other stations and kitchen roles as needed. Follow all Eddie Merlot's Policies and Procedures and guidelines for station requirements and workplace behavior. Attend team meetings. Communicate information regarding guest requests or complaints and ideas for improvement to Managers. Follow all policies and procedures, station standards and guidelines, and regulations related to food handling, sanitation and safety. Experienced Line Cooks may assist with training and supervision. Perform other related duties as assigned.
    Position Requirements

    Qualifications and Requirements
    One or more year's experience as a line cook, preferably in a fine dining restaurant. Experience operating grills, broilers, fryers, sauté burners, convection ovens, flat-top ranges, and a variety of other kitchen equipment. Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation and production, cooking techniques, sanitation and safe food handling. Commitment to quality, service, and expanding knowledge and skills. High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read and communicate in English. Clean and professional appearance. Must be self motivated and able to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment. Able to multi-task and manage quickly changing priorities. Strong team-work orientation, well organized, able to take direction from others. Basic math and computer skills preferred. Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    Working Conditions/Physical Demands
    Able to stand for 5 or more hours at a time. Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity required to use knives and kitchen equipment. Will be constantly exposed to high temperature and working in a crowded, space-limited area. Occasional exposure to cold and water.
