**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at a substance use and alcohol use treatment center. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, administering medications, and ensuring the smooth operation of the treatment center.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting
- Experience or strong interest in substance use and alcohol use treatment
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- CPR certification
**Responsibilities:**
- Monitor patient health and administer medications
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Create and update patient care plans tailored to substance use and alcohol use treatment
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures related to addiction recovery
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Ensure the smooth operation of the treatment center
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards, especially those related to addiction treatment
- Participate in in-service education programs for staff development and training
