Role Overview
A stable and growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Mechanic 2 to support weekend night shift maintenance operations within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
This onsite role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and other critical manufacturing systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
The ideal candidate has strong industrial maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and hands-on knowledge of machinery repair, preventive maintenance, and CMMS work order systems.

Key Responsibilities
Machinery Repair & Maintenance
Repair and maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Prepare new machinery and equipment for operational use
Technical Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and operational issues

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Perform welding activities as needed to support maintenance operations
Machine Safety & Operational Support
Conduct technical testing and inspections to ensure machinery safety and efficiency
Support efforts to reduce machine downtime and improve operational reliability
Monitor machine performance and identify improvement opportunities
Assist with troubleshooting production-related equipment issues
Data Collection & CMMS Management
Collect and analyze operational equipment data
Track downtime trends and recommend corrective actions
Create and manage work orders within CMMS systems
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
Requirements
Associate degree preferred
Minimum 2–4 years of industrial maintenance or machinery repair experience required
Strong experience troubleshooting:

Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
Experience using:
