    Dimondale Adolescent is seeking responsible and caring individuals to work with at risk youth in the South Bay. Part time position available. Will be working with youth aged 12-18. Must be a good role model. Job duties include but are not limited to supervision, meal preparation, and transportation of the residents. Must be able to attend the first 2 weeks of training which will be scheduled for 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday. Criminal Record check required. Current driver’s license. Clean DMV Record. Health screening

    Under the direction of the Administrator and/or Facility Manager, the direct care worker performs the following functions:

    1. Provide general supervision of residents in accordance with the policies of the facility.

    2. Maintain basic disciplinary and behavioral control of the residents, observing them closely and regularly to detect any potentially problematic behavior.

    3. Stimulate the residents’ interest in various activities and programs provided by the facility and supervise their participation in those activities.

    4. Attempt to ease the adjustment of each resident to placement at the facility by means of personal contact and counseling techniques.

    5. Assign and supervise the residents in various daily maintenance tasks expected of them (i.e., cleaning room, making beds, dusting furniture, mopping floors, assisting in mealtime setup and cleanup procedures).

    6. As assigned, eat with the residents, supervising general mealtime behavior and manners.

    7. Encourage and supervise the proper performance of residents’ daily personal hygiene tasks.

    8. Administer first aid as required, and administer medication as permitted by the policies of the facility.

    9. Note daily activities in the unit logs, including references to at least the following: intake and release statistics (separate log book), safety and security checks, and unusual or problematic behaviors on the part of the residents, arrival and departure of any persons who visit the residents, and any other pertinent information.

    10. Assist in “lights out” procedures at night, as well as in other security, maintenance and/or safety measure deemed necessary.

    11. Assess residents’ clothing needs and personal hygiene supplies; write reports.

    12. Participate in group sessions employing the treatment model of the facility, and work with the assigned Social Workers with specific treatment plans for each resident.

    13. Transport residents to appointments (medical, dental), school or community group outings and designated locations. Direct Care Workers must possess or obtain a valid California Driver’s License.

    14. Ensure that each resident is properly prepared and arrives at school on time.

    15. Supervise each resident’s return from school.

    16. Perform necessary household cleaning and upkeep.

    17. Attend staff training sessions as required and as scheduled.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of a High School Diploma RequiredMust be at least 21 years old.Must have minimum of 1 year in a group home setting/high risk setting working with youthBachelors degreeMust be physically and mentally fit to perform all duties.Must have a criminal record clearance and child abuse index clearance, and Megan’s Law clearance required.Must have valid driver’s license, required.Ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing to residents, other staff and to the general public.Must have CPR/First Aid Certificate.Must have effective communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

    Requirement

    Dimondale staff are required to be certified in Pro-ACT (Professional Assault Crisis Training) within one month of being hired, by Dimondale’s certified Pro-ACT Instructor. All Pro-ACT trained staff have demonstrated the full understanding of the guidelines and meet the standard put forth in the training, resulting in their certification in Pro-ACT and/or Pro-ACT restraints.

    What Pro ACT Entails:

    Pro-ACT will describe the principles need for the de-escalation of a youth in crisis, as trained staff aid the youth back to their baseline. In the event restraint assistance is needed, only Pro-ACT trained staff can perform a restraint based on the following criteria:

    · There is a crisis, harm to self or harm to others

    · Ratio is met; two Pro-ACT trained staff required to perform the restraint

    · Staff are able to safely enter into the restraint and maintain the safety of all party’s involved

    About Us:
    Dimondale Adolescent Care Facility provides Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) services to youth ages 12 to 18. Our mission is to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive care in a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

     

    About the Role:

    Dimondale Adolescent Care Facility is seeking a dedicated therapist to join our team in supporting youth with a history of mental illness. You’ll provide therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy—to a small, manageable caseload of six adolescents. Your work will directly support our youth in developing the skills and stability needed for long-term well-being and success.

    As a therapist, you will also serve as clinical support during crises, coordinate with families, psychiatrists, and outside agencies. This position includes participation in a rotating crisis line schedule.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapyFacilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessionsDeliver crisis intervention and de-escalation using Pro-ACT methodsConduct comprehensive assessments of youth to identify their needs and strengths.Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams on treatment planningEnsure documentation and services meet standards set by DMH, DCFS, CCL, Probation, and CARFMeets and maintains relevant state licensing requirements throughout employment, for billable services.Participate in weekly supervision, staff meetings, and required trainingProvide clinical input during emergencies and serve as backup to Head of Service when neededAssesses and monitors the condition of the resident to evaluate success of treatment and adapts interventions as needed.Support youth with community reintegration services

    We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Clinical Director to lead our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) mental health services across multiple locations.


    Position Summary


    THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION.


    The Clinical Director provides leadership, oversight, and clinical direction for all STRTP mental health services and treatment operations. This role ensures compliance with STRTP regulations, Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health Services requirements, Community Care Licensing (CCL), county contracts, and evidence-based treatment standards.

    The Clinical Director oversees clinical staff, ensures high-quality treatment delivery, supports regulatory compliance, and promotes trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for youth and non-minor dependents.


    Responsibilities


    Clinical Leadership

    Oversee all clinical services within the STRTP programEnsure compliance with STRTP, Medi-Cal, DHCS, DMH, and CCL requirementsLead weekly clinical trainings and treatment team meetingsEnsure timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge documentationSupport crisis intervention, behavioral stabilization, and trauma-informed treatment approachesPromote permanency planning, family engagement, and successful transition outcomesMaintain high standards for clinical documentation and quality assuranceOversee implementation of evidence-based practices including TF-CBT, CBT, DBT-informed interventions, and Seeking Safety

    Qualifications


    Required
