  Diesel Direct is currently seeking a full-time Diesel Truck Mechanic for our East Providence, RI location. Duties include working on fleet delivery vehicles and customers. Maintains diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records.

  Essential Duties:

  Inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs and maintenance on equipment. Engine diagnostics a plus.Welds equipment as needed.Interpret work orders and technical manuals.Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets the manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations.Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.Must possess the strength and stamina required to work with heavy equipment and work in awkward positions.The ability to work alone or as a team.The ability to keep up with changing technology and updates. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience working with oil and fuel trucks a plusMust supply own toolsAbility to recognize vehicle maintenance needs; ability to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions.   CDL Driver:

  Diesel Direct is seeking a CDL Class B driver that is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fuel to various customers. You will operate a commercial diesel truck, tractor trailer, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  To perform this role successfully, and individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, other duties may be assigned:

  Delivery: Safely deliver to customers, ensuring accurate quantities and timely service. Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post trip inspections on the truck to identify and address any mechanical issues.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed delivery records, including signatures and fuel quantities.Compliance: Adhere to all regulations, including hours of service, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance requirements.Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.Safety: Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, following company safety procedures and regulations.

  Qualifications:

  Valid CDL Class A or B and Hazmat are REQUIREDExcellent driving record with no major violationsAbility to lift and carry heavy objectsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently.Tank Truck Experience with Petroleum (preferred but not required)

  Diesel Direct is seeking a qualified full-time NIGHT SHIFT Fuel Driver at our South Portland, ME location. Diesel Direct a premier one-stop fuel and lubrication petroleum distributor with a focus on safety and customer service.

  Driver duties would include operating Diesel Direct equipment and making local deliveries. The candidate must be able to drive multiple vehicles safely, follow time schedules, and be detail-oriented, organized, and punctual.

  Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and possess and maintain a safe driving record. Applicants must have a minimum of:

  Class B commercial driver's license (Class A welcomed to apply) Hazmat and Tanker EndorsementsDOT medical card Pass a pre-employment screeningDrive a manual transmission (preferred but not required)TWIC Card (preferred, but not required)

  Must be available for Nights and Overtime hours along with Weekend Flexibility.
