We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support and strengthen our off-site catering operations.
Position Summary
The Off-Premise Catering Assistant Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of off-site events by coordinating logistics, managing event staff, and overseeing equipment and inventory. You’ll work closely with the operations team, culinary staff, and clients to help deliver top-tier events with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and coordinating all logistical aspects of off-premise catering eventsSupport loading, transport, setup, and breakdown of catering equipment and suppliesEnsure timely deliveries and pickups; manage routing and vehicle schedulesSupervise on-site event staff to ensure service standards are metCommunicate with kitchen and sales teams to confirm event details and requirementsMaintain equipment and supply inventory; oversee cleanliness and organization of storage areasAssist in hiring, training, and scheduling part-time/on-call event staffTroubleshoot issues on-site during events and provide hands-on support as neededEnsure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standardsQualifications
2+ years of experience in catering, events, or hospitality operations (off-premise preferred)Strong organizational and time-management skillsLeadership ability with experience supervising teamsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift 40+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work evenings/weekends/holidays as neededValid driver’s license (CDL or box truck experience a plus)ServSafe or other food safety certification preferredWhy Join Us?
