DHT Group is hiring an Experienced Equipment Operator / Construction Laborer for our Reese, Michigan operation. We're looking for dependable professionals with at least two years of verifiable construction or heavy equipment experience who take pride in working safely, working hard, and getting the job done right.
This is a hands-on position. You'll operate heavy equipment, perform physical labor when needed, and work alongside an experienced crew on excavation and site development projects throughout Michigan. Every project is different, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills while working with a company that values professionalism, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
What You'll DoOperate heavy equipment safely and efficientlyAssist with excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparationLoad and unload materials and equipmentPerform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenanceFollow all company safety policies and DOT regulationsTravel to out-of-town projects during the busy seasonWork as part of a professional construction crewQualificationsMinimum two (2) years of verifiable construction or heavy equipment experience requiredExperience operating excavators, loaders, dozers, or similar equipment preferredCDL-A preferred, but not requiredAbility to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditionsDependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitudeWilling to travel as business demandsCommitted to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanshipWhy DHT Group?
