What Youll Do
Install, program, and troubleshoot commercial alarm, access control, and camera systemsRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layoutsUse CRM software and iPads for job details, documentation, and closeoutsWork in new construction and existing buildings across the DFW MetroplexPartner with a team of technicians and office staff to complete projects on timeStart each day at DFW Security HQ to pick up staged equipment and materials, thenDrive your company vehicle home daily after the workdayWhat Youll Bring
At least 1 year of experience in security, surveillance, access control, or commercial alarm systemsExperience with platforms like DSC, Qolsys, and Alarm.com is a plusAbility to climb ladders, work in ceilings/attics, and perform physical tasks as neededComfortable working in commercial environments (offices, warehouses, retail, etc.)A valid drivers license and a clean, professional work ethicHigh school diploma or GED
Pay & Career Path
Hourly pay: $25$50/hr, based on experience, certifications, and skill level.
$25$34/hr Solid techs with 13+ years in alarms/cameras/access control who can handle most installs and service with minimal supervision.$35$44/hr Strong senior-level techs with 46+ years of commercial experience, comfortable leading jobs, mentoring others, and handling complex troubleshooting.$45$50/hr Highly skilled, highly experienced technicians (typically 7+ years) in commercial alarm, fire, access control, and video systems, with advanced programming, integration, and leadership capabilities.Final compensation will be based on your experience, skills, licenses/certifications, and ability to lead complex commercial jobs.
