Help shape the future of local students! The Des Plaines Valley Region is looking for an Education & Career Readiness Coach to help youth explore career pathways, build real-world skills, and connect schools with community partners.
What You’ll Do
Guide high school students through career readiness skills like professionalism, job searching, and interview preparation.Build partnerships with schools and community organizations to develop internships, job shadowing, and other work-based learning opportunities.Support the Education Pathway Grant by managing program compliance, reporting, and communication between schools.Collect and analyze data to track student progress and program outcomes.Provide training and support to educators and stakeholders on pathway and grant requirements.What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, or a related field (preferred).2+ years of experience in education, workforce development, or grant/program management.Strong communication and organizational skills.Passion for helping students achieve their goals.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between partner schools.Why Join Us
