Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a strong attention to detail.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles such as vans, box trucks, or tractor-trailers
- Load and unload goods and products from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with care and professionalism
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred
- Previous experience with towing trailers, backing up and parking them is a must
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
