Full-Time Orthopedic Provider (ACNP or PA)

Desert Orthopedics Center is seeking a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. This is a primarily clinic-based position with no surgical responsibilities. The role includes rotating office call and light inpatient rounding responsibilities, but no surgical call, offering an excellent work-life balance in a supportive orthopedic setting.
Position Overview
Independent outpatient clinic responsibilities with physician supervisionEvaluation and management of orthopedic conditions and injuriesComprehensive patient care including:Fracture managementCasting and bracingWound careIn-office procedures and injections (training provided, including fluoroscopic guidance)Ongoing patient communication, follow-ups, and care coordinationAdministrative responsibilities including documentation, paperwork, and patient inquiriesLight inpatient rounding responsibilities as needed
Training & Development

Fluoroscopic-guided injectionsCasting and bracing techniquesWound managementGeneral orthopedic clinical careMost providers reach a high level of clinical confidence within approximately 1–2 years through our mentorship-driven model. Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PMFriday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PMNo weekendsPrimarily clinic-based with occasional inpatient rounding responsibilities

We operate across three locations:
North ScottsdaleSouth ScottsdaleGlendaleThis position will support both Scottsdale and Glendale locations based on operational needs. All sites are within the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Qualifications
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed in Arizona (or eligible)Strong interest in orthopedics (experience preferred but not required)Motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learnCommitted to providing high-quality patient care
