    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a reliable and experienced Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring efficient front office operations.     Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Dermatology Medical Scribe with phlebotomy experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced dermatology setting while supporting providers and enhancing patient care.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Medical Scribing:

    Accurately document patient encounters in real-time within Nextech our electronic medical record (EMR)Record patient history, physical exams, procedures, and treatment plansAssist providers with chart completion to ensure timely and compliant documentationMaintain strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

     

    Clinical Support:

    Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during dermatologic proceduresPerform phlebotomy (venipuncture, specimen collection)Ensure proper handling and documentation of lab specimensAssist provider with various procedures 

    Qualifications

    Title:           Floor Supervisor

    Location:  Palos Heights or New Lenox

    Reports to: Medical Team Manager / Practice Manager

     

    Role Purpose

    In addition to scribing duties this role is to support the Medical Team Manager with day-to- day clinical operations.  The Floor Supervisor, is responsible for provider triage buckets, monthly maintenance of sterilizer, and overseeing the filling of syringes. They will also assist with training staff. He /she is a leader to the team and must motivate productivity, innovation and overall commitment to the practice.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive:

     

    Scribing for various providers throughout the week to maintain skills and encourage others to performBe a point of contact for scribes on floor and other departmentsBe the liaison between other departments and providers for needed informationMonitor, follow through and assist with the completion of lettersMonthly maintenance of sterilizer and other assigned itemsAnswer and triage incoming calls to medical teamMonitor patient flow including monitoring the room managerDirect evening staff as needed to keep patient flow moving productivelyCover floor in times of call offs or if clinic begins to run behindAssist with completion of various projects assignedAct as main point of contact for scribes at designated location when they are calling off or going to be late Syringe inventory monitoring Monitor performance and policy adherence by scribes and direct them appropriately as neededAssist with training new and existing scribesMedical inventory management including maintaining inventory by communicating to Assistant Medical Team Manager to order and replenish stock as neededProvide performance feedback on staff for reviews and training purposesOther duties as assigned
