We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to deliver high-quality preventive dental care, build strong patient relationships, and support our clinical team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient education and positive chair-side experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services: prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planing, coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.Conduct periodontal assessments (charting, probing, bleeding indices) and document findings accurately.Take and evaluate dental radiographs per practice protocol Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education on oral hygiene, prevention, and home care.Screen for oral disease and refer to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment as needed.Maintain accurate, compliant clinical records and update patient charts promptly.Assist with infection control, sterilization, and compliance with OSHA/HIPAA standards.Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.Support practice growth through excellent patient rapport, recall management, and community outreach as needed.Qualifications
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in Tennessee (or eligible for Tennessee licensure).Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.Current CPR certification (BLS) required.Experience with digital X-rays and dental practice management software preferred (specify if your office uses a particular system).Strong communication and patient education skills.Commitment to high standards of infection control and documentation.Preferred Traits
