    Position Details

    Department: Oral Surgery

    Travel is required between our Kenosha Clinic (7117 Green Bay Rd, Kenosha, WI 53142) and our Franklin Clinic (6855 S 27th St, Franklin, WI 53132), with Tuesdays and Wednesdays based in Kenosha and Thursdays and Fridays at Franklin.

    Schedule

    Monday: Off, Tuesday/Wednesday (Kenosha Clinic): 7:00am-5:30pm, Thursday (Franklin Clinic): 7:00am-5:30pm, Friday (Franklin Clinic): 7:00am-4:00pm, Saturday: Off


    Job Responsibilities

    Establish rapport with patients by greeting them with a smile and maintaining a professional image in appearance and mannerComplete patient check-in and pre-registrationIntroduce patient to clinical staff and escort patient to treatment areaMonitor Doctor and Hygienist timeliness and inform patient of any delaysResolve patient concerns; answer or seek to find an answer to patient inquiriesCollect treatment fees due from patient and document date-of-service paymentUpdate patient accounts on an on-going basisProvide coverage for Dental Assistants to account for absences and assist during high volume periodsReceive, distribute, and stock dental suppliesSterilization of instrumentsDisposal of used supplies, waste, and hazardous materials in the proper containersProperly disinfecting operatory upon request

    Job Requirements

    High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years in the dental or healthcare field preferredCommunicates in a clear and concise manner. Uses appropriate grammar, pronunciation, and tone to enhance understandingEffective interpersonal skills to maintain rapport with patients, dentists and staff membersGood customer service skills and ability to work as a team in fast-paced environmentMust be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

    Job Responsibilities

    The Oral Surgery Supervisor oversees clinical operations and provides leadership to support staff across all oral surgery practices. This role ensures efficient workflows, staff performance and development, regulatory compliance, and adherence to quality and safety standards, while fostering a productive environment that supports exceptional patient care and staff engagement.

    Provide leadership and clear direction to support day-to-day clinic surgery operations at multiple sites, ensuring smooth patient flow and adequate provider support.Ensure team compliance with Dental Associates workflows, regulations, and policies, including recommending corrective action and following through performance management plans as needed.Partners with Practice Manager to provide operational and clinical support for the management, documentation, inventory control, and disposal of controlled and non-controlled medications within the Oral Surgery department. Serves as a department resource for medication audits, chain-of-custody processes, discrepancies and implementing corrective actions, and staff education regarding safe sedation practices.Facilitate staff meetings and huddles, as appropriate, to address workflow challenges, communication issues, or personnel concerns between providers and support teams.In conjunction with clinic leadership, assist in compliance of clinical areas with DEA, OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA standards, in coordination with management, safety coordinators, and the Compliance Department.Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff in collaboration with Learning & Development and mentor teams.Partner with clinical and operational teams to optimize schedules, workflows, and resource utilization to improve productivity, efficiency, and achievement of operational and financial KPIs.Provide coverage and operational support by filling in for Surgery Assistants when necessary.Engage in results-driven collaboration, owning and expanding on outcomes.Training and execution of medical emergency management processes within surgery teams.Integrate implant service initiatives within applicable surgery departments.



    Job Requirements

    Clinical oral surgery experience required including knowledge of supplies, instruments, sterilization processes, radiography including CBCT and radiation safety protocols, implant systems, and sedation protocol.DAANCE certification preferred.Working knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and general computer systems.Demonstrated ability to maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards in a clinical environment.Prior experience leading a team or managing projects in a healthcare setting preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
