Position Summary:
As a Glass Outer Wrap (GOW) Operator, one specializes in the operation of machinery to wrap, oversee resin levels in baths, configure production lines, and uphold quality control standards.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Prepares and operates wrapping machines, ensuring the proper application and tension of the fiberglass material.
· Manages fiberglass materials, which include loading and unloading rolls as well as handling resin-activated baths.
· Applies a fiberglass wrap that is activated by water, ensuring the overlap is correct and it is smoothed, often checking for any flaws.
· Monitors the procedure to prevent any damage to the base coatings and ensures that the final product complies with the specified strength and quality standards.
· Maintains equipment, ensures the workspace is clean, and adheres to all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) rules.
· Ability to use small hand tools, both electrical and air powered
· Ability to follow verbal instructions
· Keep work area clean and orderly
· Other duties as assigned by management
Physical Requirements
· Follows hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment requirements
· Lift up to 50 lbs.
· Constant bending and stooping

· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Good work attitude
· Capable of handling materials, operating machinery, and performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.

· Responsible for daily housekeeping in the pigment, gel coat area and warehouse

Position Summary:
A Fiberglass Roller applies liquid resin and catalyst to fiberglass on molds, using rollers to eliminate air bubbles and ensure proper saturation, laminating layers to achieve desired thickness.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Apply resin and fiberglass to molds, using rollers to remove air and smooth seams.
· Mix catalysts into resins and apply to mats.
· Inspect parts for air pockets, bubbles, or structural defects.
· Cut excess fiberglass, trim, and finish parts, often using power tools.
· Wearing PPE (respirators, protective clothing) is required and maintain a clean work environment.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to bend at waist, knees and stand for extended periods of time
· Must be able to wear proper safety equipment to include respirator when necessary
· Must follow all safety standard and procedures, including chemical handling standards and Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE).
· Knowledge of fiberglass layup, laminating techniques, and reading
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Individual must have a High School diploma or equivalent
· Ability to use specialty hand and electric tools
· 1-2 years of related manufacturing related experience
· Accurate measurement capabilities
