What will you do? Create and manage group meeting space, function, and catering requests throughout the booking life-cycle. Create necessary reservations, contracts, and detailed BEOs for all Function only group requests. Review guest event requests and requirements and determine the next steps to take. Work with the Sales Manager to create long-term planning and execution of event arrangements. Partner with the food and beverage department at the property to organize the catering needs of events. Coordinate and host event rehearsals; ensure effective communication between all relevant departments at the property. Conduct a pre and post-event briefing to ensure all departments understand the standards of the event. Administrative tasks including monitoring deposits, final payments, submitting rooming lists, guest correspondence and other duties as assigned. Oversee BEO dissemination and communication to all property department heads on a weekly basis. Occasional assistance at the front desk. Other duties as assigned.
More about you Between 1 to 3 years experience in hospitality, sales or related field preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel. Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of property management and reservation systems preferred. Experience with Marriott and using the Fosse Property Management System preferred. Attention to detail required.
