Lead client-focused project teams through all phases, from concept through construction closeoutTranslate client goals into actionable project plans that guide team structure, scope, and scheduleCoordinate internal and consultant teams, clearly defining tasks, deliverables, and rolesManage scope, schedule, and budget throughout the life of a projectTrack performance against project milestones and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholdersAnticipate project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategiesEnsure high-quality documentation, coordination, and compliance with all project requirementsMaintain awareness of client expectations, industry best practices, and quality standardsSupport recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback for project team membersParticipate in strategic discussions related to studio operations and project delivery methodsBring curiosity and accountability to everything—from design meetings to project administration
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field7–12 years of experience managing design-related projects, including coordination with consultants and contractorsStrong working knowledge of project delivery methods, regulatory processes, fee structures, and construction phasesProficiency in project management and architectural tools such as Deltek, Revit, MS Office Suite, and BluebeamAdvanced communication and negotiation skills with the ability to lead conversations and resolve issues collaborativelyPMP certification (preferred but not required)Applicants must reside near Albuquerque, Phoenix, or El PasoAuthorization to work in the U.S. (Dekker is unable to provide sponsorship)
