Job Summary
This dual-role position provides leadership, direction, and administration for Serve Trips (International) and Serve Opportunities (Regional), while also providing high-level executive support to the Lead Pastor. The Serve Trips Director component ensures strategic development, execution, and care surrounding church-wide serving initiatives. The Executive Assistant component exists to help steward the Lead Pastor's time, communication, relationships, and priorities with excellence and integrity. This role is key to advancing the church's mission, supporting leadership health, and mobilizing the church to serve locally, regionally, and globally.
Key Responsibilities
Serve Trips & Opportunities Director
Provide leadership and oversight for Serve Trips (Regional and International) and Serve Opportunities (Drives, Serve Center, Prison Ministry, etc.) aligned with the church's mission and valuesPlan, organize, and execute aspects of Serve Trips, including maintaining partner relationships, managing logistics, overseeing budgets, and preparing participants along with trip leadershipDevelop and manage Serve Opportunities that create accessible pathways for our church to serve our cityCultivate and maintain strong relationships with international, regional and local ministry partners and organizations including our Serve Center partnershipRecruit, train, and equip trip leaders and volunteers for both international and regional serve initiativesOversee participant application processes, communication, orientation meetings, and post-trip debriefsCollaborate with pastoral staff, ministry teams, and departments to integrate serve opportunities into the broader life of the churchManage budgets related to serve initiativesTrack participation, impact, and outcomes of Serve Trips and Opportunities to help evaluate and continually improve serve initiatives.
Executive Assistant
Manage executive calendars, scheduling, email correspondence, and day-to-day communication on behalf of leadershipAssist with budget tracking, expense management, and confidential recordsHelp arrange and schedule meetings, travel, events, and special projects, ensuring smooth logistics and timely completion
Required Qualifications
Education
High school diploma required; higher education preferred
Experience
Demonstrated administrative and organizational leadership experienceExperience coordinating events, projects, or teamsExperience working/leading within a church or ministry environment

Job Summary
The Serve Director provides leadership, oversight, and pastoral care for all serve teams and serve opportunities at the assigned campus. This role exists to help people take meaningful next steps in serving, ensure healthy and effective volunteer teams, and cultivate a culture of excellence, care, and engagement across all serve environments. The Serve Director also supports pastoral care functions and oversees prayer request management, contributing to the overall spiritual health of the church.
Key Responsibilities
Serve
Oversee serve teams and serve opportunities, including, but not limited to:Team recruitment, leadership development, and trainingServe registrations, attendance, and other database requirementsDevelopment of teams in the following areas: Guest Experience (Host, Usher, Parking), Prayer, Prison, and any other teams deemed necessary to create an excellent guest experienceHelp facilitate and oversee the process of assimilating new people onto serve teamsHelp maintain and develop a healthy culture amongst all of our serve teams including, but not limited to guest experiences, next gen and worship teams.
Other
Facilitate and/or teach at experiences and programs designed to help people engage in serving and engaging in the church. These include, but are not limited to:Serve Team OrientationCoreAssist with pastoral care responsibilities as needed at the assigned campus, including, but not limited to completing Pastoral AssessmentsOversee the management of all online prayer requests
Required Qualifications
Education
Four-year bachelor's degree is preferred Additional ministry or seminary training is idealCompletion of Cultivate Leadership Institute or some similar leadership training is preferred
Experience
3+ years attending Definition Church, an ARC Church or something similar3+ years serving in a position of leadership3+ years leading groups or teamsSpeaking/Teaching experience (from 10-200 people)
