    OVERVIEW

    Immediate opening for a Quality Control Inspector in Irvine, CA who possesses:

    Extensive hands-on experience with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620Experienced using quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, electrical measurement tools, etc.Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings

     

     

    FULL DESCRIPTION:

     

    The selected candidate will be responsible for:

    Perform visual and dimensional checks various incoming products (sheet metal, PCBAs or CCAs, Printed Boards or PCBs, Conformal Coating, Labels or markings, Cables, Harnesses; COTS items, and etc.) at various stages (Incoming, RMA, In-process, Final, Shipping, etc.)Perform First Article Inspection and prepare FAIRs as needed.Test and or verify products for a variety of characteristics such as functional performance mechanically or electrically, or chemical properties or composition.Record Inspection findings and generate NCMR’s, DCRs’ and ERRs’ as needed.Communicate with the Project Mangers or QA for any possible delays and/or resolutions of any urgent and high priority jobs.

     

    The selected candidate will also possess:

    Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry such as decimals, fractions, length, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to read, comprehend and interpret engineering drawings and documentation such as electrical schematic diagrams, mechanical and assembly drawings, BOM, and assembly instructions, and etc.Ability to confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards or applicable requirements.Ability to use mechanical measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and electrical measurement tools, etc.Ability to operate computers and able to use computer applications and files such Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe PDF, Outlook emails, and other databased platforms.Extensive working knowledge of IPC-A-600, J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610, and IPC-A-620. Prior or current IPC training and/or certification is preferred.Detail oriented, dedicated and self-motivated.Ability to work under minimum supervision.Ability to adjust in fast-paced dynamic operations.Work well in a team environment.Must have good interpersonal skills.

     

    Salary Range: $29.00 to $33.00/hour

    Immediate opening for an Electronic Assembly/Solder Technician in San Diego, CA who possesses: 

    2+ years of soldering experienceExperience with PCBs, MMICs, and/or Amplifiers is preferredProven ability to read schematics and blueprintsElectrical or Mechanical assembly experience is desired   

     

    FULL DESCRIPTION: Our company is looking for a highly motivated individual with soldering experience down to 0201 size components and fine pitch ICs, who will be able to assist in electronic assembly and soldering tasks. These tasks require a high level of dexterity and attention to detail. An IPC soldering certification is preferred but not required.

     

    The selected candidate will be responsible for:   

    Pick-and-place machine programming and setup experience, including BOM import, feeder mapping, vision calibration, and first-article inspection strongly desiredHand soldering/desoldering experience, with 0201-sized components and fine-pitch ICs, SMT and Through-HoleGood dexterity and steady handsWorking knowledge of adhesives and chemicals associated with assembly: mixing techniques, pot life, etc.Can read and understand assembly drawings, assembly instructions, and datasheetsWorking understanding of precision hand and measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, screwdrivers, precision tweezers etc.Maintain clean and safe work environment to facilitate efficient assembly procedures

    Immediate opening for a Project Engineer in Brea, CA who possesses: 


    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field. 3+ years of engineering experience in product development and manufacturing environments. Experience with injection molded plastic components. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent). Ability to create and interpret detailed 2D engineering drawings and GD&T. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and design-for-manufacturing principles. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required



    FULL DESCRIPTION:  The Project Engineer is responsible for leading the development, launch, and ongoing support of plastic fastening solutions used for cable management, panel attachment, and related aircraft interior applications. This role serves as the technical focal point between customers, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure successful product development from concept through production.


    The Project Engineer manages New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, supports manufacturing processes, defines tooling requirements, selects appropriate materials, creates engineering documentation, and develops 3D models and 2D drawings while ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and customer requirements.


    The selected candidate will be responsible for:  

    Lead NPI projects from customer requirements through production launch.Develop project plans, schedules, and technical deliverables to meet customer milestones.Coordinate design reviews, risk assessments, validation activities, and production readiness reviews.Drive cross-functional collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and program management teams.Manage engineering changes and product lifecycle activities.Serve as the primary technical contact for customers throughout product development and production support.Review customer specifications, drawings, standards, and requirements.Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and technical presentations.Provide technical solutions and recommendations to address customer challenges.Support quotation and proposal activities by defining technical requirements and manufacturing considerations.Create and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings.Define product specifications, dimensional requirements, tolerances, and critical characteristics.Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.Define injection mold tooling requirements and specifications.Collaborate with toolmakers and suppliers on mold design, construction, validation, and troubleshooting.Review tooling concepts, mold flow analyses, and manufacturing feasibility studies.Support mold trials, process optimization, and production qualification activities.Provide technical support for injection molding operations and secondary processes.Investigate and resolve manufacturing, quality, and process-related issues.Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.Support process validation, first article inspections, and production approval activities.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, and delivery performance.Generate and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, test plans, and reports.Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures.Support configuration management and document control requirements.Assist with qualification testing, certification packages, and customer approval documentation.Keeps area clean according to 5S standardsFollows all compliance safety rules as set by the companyResearch and validate new mold materials, tooling processes and design technologiesEstablishing performance and testing targets for new products and/or product changesOther duties as assigned by management


    The selected candidate will also possess: 

    Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly aircraft interiors or cabin systems.Knowledge of aerospace standards and certification requirements.Experience with thermoplastic material selection and qualification.Familiarity with mold flow analysis and injection molding process development.Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.Project management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.Customer Relationship Management.Product Development.Injection Molding Processes.Tooling Development.CAD Modeling & Engineering Drawings.Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis.Cross-Functional Leadership.Continuous Improvement.


    Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000/year
