    Position Summary

    The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the front-line contact for residents. The CSR is responsible for all phases of resident relations and resident retention of a multi-family residential community. Providing particular emphasis on administration of the property operations, resident functions, and service requests with the end result of providing a quality living experience for the residents.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Assist with planning and promoting resident events and activities to support retention efforts.

    Respond promptly to resident service requests and follow up within 24 hours to ensure satisfaction.

    Input, update, and close service requests in Yardi.

    Support lease renewal efforts and communicate policy violations or lease breaches.

    Address resident complaints professionally and within company guidelines.

    Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing laws, local ordinances, and property rules, including eviction procedures.

    Help administer parking policies, newsletters, and community communications.

    Coordinate and track the distribution of promotional items and resident feedback.

    Maintain online listings with updated photos, pricing, and specials.

    Participate in outreach marketing to increase traffic and awareness.

    Distribute flyers, newsletters, and community notices.

    Install or remove marketing materials (banners, signs, balloons, etc.).

    Monitor competitors and provide market analysis to improve strategy.

    Non-Essential Duties

    Support community events and resident engagement initiatives

    Help with administrative projects or seasonal tasks

    Provide translation or language assistance if qualified and requested

    Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent

    1+ years of customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience

    Professional communication skills (in-person, phone, and email)

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment

    Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

    Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor

    Availability to work weekends or evenings as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

    Prior experience in residential leasing, hospitality, or property management

    Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)

    Bilingual in English and Spanish or another common local language

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements

    Primarily office-based role with some walking around the property

    Frequent use of computers, phone, and standard office equipment

    Occasionally lifts or moves office supplies or packages up to 25 pounds

    May assist outdoors during community events or resident needs
