    The Stock Worker and Receiver is responsible for receiving, unloading, organizing, and distributing merchandise and materials to ensure efficient warehouse and storage operations. This position supports daily logistics, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Receive, unload, and unpack incoming merchandise and materials.Verify contents of shipments and ensure products are properly labeled and stored.Stock shelves and storage areas in accordance with inventory procedures.Pick and pack orders accurately for delivery or customer pickup.Assist customers and team members with locating or preparing merchandise.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks as needed.Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.Support other warehouse or stockroom functions as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

The Pharmacist will perform all responsibilities in a manner appropriate for the patients served.

    Responsibilities

    Ensure the appropriateness of all medication doses based on diagnosis, weight/body surface area, allergies, and drug interactions.

    Accurately enter medication orders in the system and ensure medications received by patients are correct.

    Process medication orders and deliver doses within established timeframes.

    Follow aseptic technique and infection control in the preparation of sterile products; complete annual re-certification scoring at least 90% on skills and written exams.

    Ensure medications meet the highest standards.

    Participate in the education of patients, caregivers, and the community.

    Support patient safety systems.

    Check all available means of communication (email, mailbox, voicemail) every shift.

    Ensure smooth pharmacy operations and serve as a role model for technicians and other pharmacists.

    Maintain investigational drug records according to departmental policy.

    Contribute to the overall medication management process.

    Conduct discharge medication reviews and counseling, ensuring patients/caregivers understand their therapies.

    Participate in study initiation, maintenance, and closure activities.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy required

    RPH certification from the State of Texas required

    2+ years hospital staff pharmacist experience (preferred) OR 5+ years retail pharmacist experience in a high-volume store

    20 hours of training in compounding sterile products accredited by ACPE or ASHP preferred
