A business that revolves around the installation of quality fireplaces would fail without quality fireplace installers. In order to succeed, Dealers Wholesale needs a Field Operation Team filled with qualified Installers, Install Assistants, and Service Technicians.
This role’s mission is to accurately and carefully, load/unload & install products for customers in excellent condition. You must address all customers in a courteous, respectful manner at all times. In addition, you will work with an installer to learn about all aspects of installing, paperwork completion, communication, product knowledge, and fireplace install manual interpretation. Load and inspect all products to be installed for that day.Review all paperwork before leaving warehouse to insure you have all the correct information needed for installs.Ensure absolute customer satisfaction by facilitating operational cooperation and direction within the division.Drive safely at all times when in company vehicle, once they pass defensive driving course and road test.Follow all company policies regarding driver safety and distracted driving.Inspect jobsite for safety.Safely bring all products necessary for install into area where work will be completed.Follow all standard work for installation of fireplaces.Complete all work for each job while still on site. The Hollow Metal Welder/Fabricator will work collaboratively with internal teams to fabricate and weld hollow metal doors, frames, and other related products. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, skilled in welding and metal fabrication. This person will use their expertise to ensure high-quality products that meet industry specifications. Mission
The mission for this role is to ensure the fabrication and welding of hollow metal products to the highest quality standards, delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
· Fabricate and weld hollow metal doors, frames, and related products according to project specifications and Division 8 standards.
· Weld 16-gauge cold rolled steel and 14-gauge galvanized steel.
· Read and interpret work orders to determine appropriate welding and fabrication methods.
· Finish grind and paint products.
· Correctly use industry tools: saws, grinders, sanders, screw guns.
· Ensure all work meets the required safety standards and follows best practices in welding and metal fabrication.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.
· Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
· Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
· Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and supplies used.
· Participate in training and development activities to stay current with industry standards and new technologies.
· Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
· Check in items when received and mark job name.
· Keep work area clean and organized.
Required Experience/Skills
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and hardware templates.
· Effective communication skills.
· Self-motivated work ethic without the need for direct supervision.
· Exemplify positive attitude, safety, and professionalism.
· Dependable and responsible.
· Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
· Familiarity with industry safety regulations (OSHA requirements).
Preferred Experience/Skills
· Technical certification in welding or metal fabrication.
· Forklift experience is a bonus.
· Relevant experience in welding and metal fabrication, preferably in the construction or Division 8 industry.
· Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
