Project Manager – Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage Retail General Contracting, General Trades, and Fixture Installation projects from initiation to completion.Coordinate effectively with clients, architectural firms, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and smooth execution.Support the Estimating team with pricing, quantity takeoffs, and bid preparation.Ensure quality assurance across all scopes of work, maintaining high standards throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate closely with Superintendents and Foremen to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with plans and specifications.Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules, including pre-job planning, value engineering, permitting, and document control.Monitor project costs and progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues.Prepare, manage, and track change orders to maintain project scope and financial accuracy.Job Requirements

Execute high-quality finish carpentry, including trim, laminate, and cabinet/countertop installation. Perform skilled rough carpentry, including frame, door, and hardware installation. Accurately interpret and apply blueprints, plans, and specifications to all projects. Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Maintain excellent communication with team members and project stakeholders. Strictly adhere to all MIOSHA/OSHA safety practices on every job site.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in finish carpentry, rough carpentry, laminate, trim, cabinet/countertop installation, and frame/door/hardware installation. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints. Strong communication skills. A commitment to safety excellence and knowledge of MIOSHA/OSHA regulations.
Leadership potential for Lead Carpenter or General Trades Foreman roles (experience managing projects and personnel preferred).
Bonus Qualifications: 10-hour or 30-hour OSHA certification.
