    Construction Laborer Utilities Boring Crew


    Yard Location- Martinsburg, WV region


    Candidates to reside within a 30-minute commute of shop and willing to travel as a crew Monday Friday at times. Some projects are local, home daily, others require overnight stay (company paid lodging and meal per-diem).



    Our Client, a well-established underground utility construction company, is seeking a full-time, dependable, and hardworking construction laborer to join their Boring Crew.



    Qualifications:



    1+ years of general construction/mechanical maintenance experience preferably working on utilities construction projects is required
    Experience running casing or pipe and knowledge of underground utility pipe work is plus
    Must be in good physical shape for fast paced, laboring construction environment, must be able to lift/carry 50lbs unassisted
    Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb and twist continuously throughout the day
    Have general knowledge and ability to use construction equipment and tools
    Able to take accurate measurements and read a tape measure
    Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and on all types of terrain
    Valid drivers license (MVR will be checked for company insurance policy)
    Ability to travel and stay overnight for out-of-town projects
    Pre-employment background and drug testing will be required


    General Responsibilities:



    Manual labor and shovel work. This is a labor-intensive job
    Loading and transporting materials and equipment to various job site locations
    Assisting in job site setup and tear down
    Operating specialized construction equipment and vehicles, safely, productively, and according to company policy
    Maintaining and submitting accurate paperwork (timecards, logbooks, receipts, etc.)
    Assist in the breaking of blacktop/concrete roadways and sidewalks, digging the excavations by hand, cleaning of the underground pipe, tapping it and connecting to newly installed mains and or services
    Completing various measurements and tasks assigned
    Operate air tools such as jack hammers, rock drills and clay spades


    Compensation & Scheduled Overview:



    Hourly rate based on experience
    Must have the ability to work on out of town and local projects
    Company pays lodging meal per-diem if working out of town overnight
    Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance coverage is available upon 90 days of service
    401K with Company Match upon eligibility

    Our client, a family-owned and operated distributor of quality food and related products, is seeking safe, dependable, and professional Local CDL Route Drivers to join their team. They operate clean, modern, and well-maintained vehicles.
    Qualified CDL Delivery Drivers will be team players and always provide the best service to their customers.

    Route Drivers are paid an hourly rate plus daily/monthly and quarterly bonuses. This position is full-time, same day deliveries with early starting times. Route (Delivery) Drivers do not have overnight runs.
    Route Drivers are paid an hourly rate plus daily/monthly and quarterly bonuses. Average Annual W2 for a Class A Route Driver is $80,000 - $85, 000; for a Class B Route Driver $75,000 average annual.

    Responsibilities:
    Timely delivery of products to pre-determined customers on a specific route.
    Unload truck with hand cart and interact with all customers in a professional manner.
    Maintain effective communication with the main office regarding customer problems and requests.
    Collect required paperwork and payment from customers, handle customer returns.

    Requirements :
    CDL Class A or B
    Candidate must be at least 21 years of age.
    Dependable with Good Attendance
    Valid Medical Card
    Good Safety Record
    Proven Customer Service Skills
    Must be flexible to work one Saturday per month
    Must pass road test
    Must pass Background Check
    Must pass DOT physical/Drug Screening

    Qualifications :
    Physical strength and stamina to lift, move, carry 50# of product throughout the workday and week
    Enjoy interacting with a wide range of personalities among vendors, customers, and staff
    Ability to accommodate irregular shifts at times starting early and/or overtime, some weekends, hours changing with seasons & company growth.
    Ability to work every other Saturday (will have off Sunday and a weekday if working a Saturday)
