Qualifications
Physically and mentally capable of following instructions and performing manual labor, including lifting materials, assembling products, and diagnosing and resolving installation and service issues.
Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical knowledge is preferred.
Comfortable working at heights and using ladders and lifts.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screening.
Duties & Responsibilities
Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of residential garage doors and garage door openers.
Complete all required paperwork accurately and submit customer payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain the required inventory of parts and materials on the service vehicle according to the established inventory list.
Supply and maintain the personal hand tools required to perform assigned duties while properly caring for all company-provided tools and equipment.
Maintain a professional attitude and provide exceptional customer service while fostering positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, and management.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures and maintain safe work practices at all times.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with the company uniform and grooming standards.
Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
Identify opportunities for additional products or services and assist with field sales when appropriate.
Communicate product concerns, customer feedback, and sales opportunities to supervisors, and provide recommendations for process or product improvements.
