As a Lead Carpenter, you will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to oversee and participate in the rebuilding and restoration of structures damaged by natural disasters, fire, water, or general deterioration. Responsibilities and Duties:

Summary:
The Contents Restoration Technician plays a critical role in providing disaster recovery services to residential and commercial clients. This position focuses on packing out personal property, conducting detailed inventories using smart cellular phones, and performing various cleaning tasks to restore contents and structures after disasters. The technician must adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Utilize handheld electronic devices to complete full inventories of customers' contents, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.Complete pack backs and resets of all contents, including frequent lifting, carrying, and placing boxes of belongings.Load and unload contents onto trucks, ensuring safe handling and organization.Provide structure cleaning services after fire losses or other types of disasters.Perform post-construction cleaning to prepare homes for occupancy, following established procedures.Conduct thorough cleaning of smoke residue from contents and structures using professional methods.Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.Work effectively in team environments and independently to complete assigned tasks.Utilize computer software programs for inventory management and communication purposes.Participate in on-call rotation for one week every month to address emergency situations.Travel to other company locations and job sites in Montana, with expenses covered by the company.Perform weekly cleaning of the shop and offices to maintain cleanliness and organization.Follow all assigned work orders and adhere to company policies and procedures.Use cleaning, deodorization, and antimicrobial products daily to restore contents and structures.Requirements:
Experience in moving, storage, or restoration services is preferred.Prior experience in packing, inventory management, or customer service is an asset.Experience working in environments like disaster recovery, construction, or warehouse settings is beneficial.Work within a team, or independently.Basic computer/tablet skillsCertifications or training in logistics, restoration, or moving services is a plus.The role requires using hands and fingers for detailed tasks such as packing fragile items, labeling boxes, and organizing inventory.Valid Driving License and pass a MVR checkMust be able to pass a background checkMust be able to pass a drug screenTravel Requirements:
Must be willing and able to travel throughout the state as needed. Travel may include overnight stays based on project schedules, customer needs, and business demands.Working Conditions:
