    We are seeking a Pre School Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.

    Responsibilities:

    Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growthCreate a fun and safe learning environmentDevelop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtimeEstablish and maintain positive relationships with students and parentsCommunicate with parents on students' growth and progressMaintain the health and safety of all students

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fieldsPassionate about working with childrenAbility to build rapport with childrenPositive and patient demeanorExcellent written and verbal communication skills

    Lead Teacher:

    Position requires a degree in Early Childhood Education.

    This is a position with full benefits (summer off)Head Start Experience

    Required AA or BA iin Early Childhood Education Required (no alternate degrees) for Lead Teacher Position:

    Must pass criminal background check and drug screening

    Position Summary:

    The Education Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring high-quality early childhood education services are provided in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards, local and state licensing regulations, and Dayspring’s mission and values. This position is responsible for curriculum implementation, teacher coaching and development, classroom quality assurance, and child outcomes monitoring across all Head Start classrooms.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Instructional Leadership

    Oversee the implementation of the approved curriculum to ensure fidelity and responsiveness to children's developmental needs.Monitor and analyze classroom environments, teacher-child interactions, and lesson plans to ensure alignment with school readiness goals.Provide support and training in child development, developmentally appropriate practices, and effective instructional strategies.

    Staff Supervision & Development

    Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff, including lead teachers, assistant teachers, and education aides.Facilitate ongoing professional development, coaching cycles, and training aligned with performance goals and Head Start regulations.Collaborate with Human Resources and the Program Director in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining qualified education staff.

    Program Quality & Compliance

    Conduct regular classroom observations using tools such as CLASS®, DECA and other assessment instruments.Monitor compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards, licensing regulations, and internal policies and procedures.Collaborate with the Family Services, Health, and Disabilities teams to ensure holistic support for children and families.

    Data and Reporting

    Utilize child assessment systems (e.g., Teaching Strategies GOLD®) to track developmental progress and guide instructional planning.Prepare and present data reports on child outcomes, classroom quality, and teacher performance for internal and external stakeholders.Participate in the development and implementation of school readiness goals and program improvement plans.

    Collaboration & Family Engagement

    Partner with families to support children's learning and development, ensuring culturally responsive and inclusive practices.Represent the education department in multidisciplinary meetings, community partnerships, and parent engagement initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum of 3 years’ experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or coaching role.Deep understanding of Head Start Performance Standards and early childhood assessment tools.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with families, staff, and community partners.Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office and child assessment software.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    CLASS® observer certificationExperience with Teaching Strategies GOLD®, Creative Curriculum®, and/or similar platforms

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to travel locally between sitesMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs and engage in floor-based play when necessaryClearance of background checks, TB test, and medical examination as required

    We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in providing exceptional support to our families and staff at Dayspring Head Start in the United States. This role is vital in ensuring smooth operations at our front desk, contributing significantly to our mission of fostering child development and family support.
    Responsibilities

    Greet and assist visitors, parents, and staff with professionalism and warmth.Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately.Maintain organized front desk operations, including filing and data entry.Provide administrative support to staff as needed.Handle inquiries regarding the program and provide information to families.Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.Ensure the front desk area is welcoming and well-maintained.Assist with additional clerical tasks as required.

    Qualifications * Proven experience in a front desk or customer service role.
