    Position Overview

    The Commercial Electrical Director leads and grows our Commercial Electrical division. This role is responsible for overall performance—operations, financials, team leadership, and strategy—while making sure projects are delivered safely, on time, and done right.

    You’ll work closely with leadership, field teams, and customers to drive success across the entire segment.

    What You’ll Do Lead and support all commercial electrical operations Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and profitability goals Own financial performance, budgets, and forecasting Manage and develop a team of PMs, estimators, designers, and superintendents Build strong relationships with customers, GCs, and internal teams Drive growth, efficiency, and continuous improvement Oversee scheduling, workflow, and team capacity Support and promote Dave Jones safety culture and core values

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For 10+ years in electrical construction 5+ years in a leadership role Strong understanding of commercial electrical work and project flow Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and performance Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver’s license

    Education in construction or business is a plus, but experience matters most.

    Physical & Work Requirements Office-based with time on active job sites Ability to sit, stand, walk job sites, and navigate stairs/uneven ground Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs Comfortable working around active construction environments

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    We’re looking for a Plumbing Foreman to join our Commercial crew. This role works on large-scale projects including multi-family apartment complexes, senior living facilities, and hotels.

    You’ll be out in the field every day as a working foreman, overseeing a crew of journeyman plumbers and plumbing apprentices. This is hands-on commercial plumbing work from underground and rough-in all the way through trim and finish.

    If you take pride in your work, know commercial plumbing, and can help guide apprentices the right way — we want to talk.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Install commercial plumbing systems on new construction projects Handle underground, rough-in, top-out, and finish work Read and work from blueprints and spec sheets Oversee crew and manage project start to finish successfully Help train and mentor apprentices and pre-apprentices Keep jobs moving safely, efficiently, and up to code Maintain clean and organized job sitesResponsible for exemplifying and promoting the Dave Jones culture and holding team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements.

    SCHEDULE:

    Full-time Monday through Thursday, 4 x 10 hour shiftsOT running into FridaysPotential for overtime based on project requirements

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    As the Electrical Foreman, you will be at the forefront of our electrical projects, leading a skilled team of electricians to ensure work is completed to the highest standards. Your leadership will be vital in managing daily operations, maintaining safety protocols, and fostering a collaborative work environment that adheres to project timelines and client specifications.

    COMPENSATION:

    Hourly wage is set between $52.00 and $60.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Lead and supervise a team of electricians in executing electrical installations and repairs on Commercial Projects.Plan and organize work schedules to meet project deadlines efficiently.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes.Conduct on-site inspections and quality checks to uphold standards.Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the electrical team.Train and develop team members, promoting professional growth and adherence to safety procedures.Oversight of crews from 6 to 16 crew members depending on size of project.Responsible for leading, exemplifying and promoting the Dave Jones culture and holding team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements.

    Salaried Role: $80,000 - $105,000Sign on bonus: $5,000

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.Collaborate with project managers and field personnel to gather information for estimating processes.Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs for proposals.Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements.Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals to clients.Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
