Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for managing personnel in all areas of construction and operations, maintaining all equipment while estimating costs of maintenance and repair to the equipment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Management of all Electrical activities associated with Darling Ingredients or any of its subsidiaries. Responsible for the scheduling of all mechanical field personnel and dealing with issues that may arise. Responsible for the selection and procurement of mechanical equipment and supplies necessary for the construction to move forward in a timely manner. Responsible for the supervision and procurement of sub-contractors hired to help in the construction of processing facilities and buildings. Direct supervision to field mechanical coordinator and special projects coordinator and subcontracted millwrights. Troubleshoot existing equipment when efficiencies fall below standards at Darling Ingredients facilities. Track progress on construction jobs weekly and develop a list of what has been completed and what is lacking completion for each ongoing job. Coordinate ongoing and upcoming jobs as to the amount of labor required to complete the job successfully and in a timely manner. Responsible for on-site job cost relating to construction and installation of capitol investment projects. Communicate and interface with upper management -General Managers, Plant Managers, and Productions Managers.Responsible for large scale equipment change-outs which include all necessary parts, equipment, labor scheduling and coordinating of tasks involved in the completion of the change-out in order to keep any downtime in the allotted time frame. Responsible for the procurement, the supervision and safety of sub contractors hired to help in construction of facilities or buildings.Responsible for the supervision of Darling employees used to construct or install equipment.Responsible for assisting in the start-up installed equipment. Responsible for the upkeep of tools and equipment owned by Darling Ingredients and utilized by oneself or others under his supervision.All other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the implementation and coordination of both high level construction and process operations preferred.Electrical CertificationsPreferred Qualifications
Millwright and rendering experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience a must; construction experience preferred.Good working knowledge general mechanical background. Good communication and organizational skills.Ability to work with others in a professional manner. Excellent work ethic and positive attitude.Physical Demands
Occasionally lift 100 lbs. Frequently twists, tug, pull and stretch. Occasional long hours required during change-outs/switch-over. Constant travel required; flying and driving to the jobsites.Frequently projects require completion on nights and weekends. Frequently walk, sit, climb, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, and stoop.Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out indoor and outside plant environments and/or in personal vehicle as required. Temperature will fluctuate depending on outside conditions.

The Grease Route Driver is responsible for operation of a grease collection truck to collect cooking oil while providing quality service to our customers.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

* Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness of container and surrounding area; returns container with screen and lock secured; notes any damages to container or corral area; properly completes route ticket with customer signature.
* Responsible for established route as assigned.
* Responsible for company vehicle; keeps vehicle in clean condition.
* Conducts all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operates vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observes all company safety rules.
* Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
* Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting professional appearance and attitude.
* Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.).
* Maintain and update vehicle condition report on a daily basis.
* All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED.
* Must be at least 21 years old with clean MVR.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience operating similar vehicle to grease route truck.
* Current CDL A license holder with proper endorsements.
* Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior route experience within a customer oriented environment preferred.
* Works well with others in a team environment.
* Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
* Good math and communication skills.
* Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance.
