Eastern Diversified Properties, Inc. (“EDP”), a subsidiary of the DARCARS Automotive Group, is looking for a Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our facilities team that services multiple automotive facilities in the Washington DC, Baltimore, Northern Virginia area.
This person will be an integral part in supporting EDP’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of employees and customers in our automotive dealership facilities. A company owned vehicle is provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment (i.e. HVAC System and Air Compressor Filters).Can perform basic plumbing maintenance and repairs. Can perform basic electrical repairs. Can perform basic Handyman functions.Is involved with, and documents regular facilities inspections. Recommends maintenance initiatives to supervisors. Provides assistance to other team members.Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 2-3 years’ experience with building maintenance or Handyman experience Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to coordinate a variety of different projects and on-going assignments. Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
