    JOB SUMMARY

    The Lamination Technician is responsible for following detailed work instructions to accurately and manually lay composite material onto layup mandrels to assist with the manufacture of structural aerospace parts, performing techniques such as composite material preparation, hand lay-up, wet laminating, curing, and de-molding in a production environment. The Lamination Technician also performs leak tests to confirm laminator and bagging procedures meet specifications and standards.

    The Lamination Technician directly reports to the location-specific Cleanroom or Production Supervisor

    The Quality Assurance Inspector I performs inspection on fabricated aerospace products for conformance to customer engineering specifications, while adhering to Nadcap and AS9100 system requirements. This position requires detailed in process inspection of aerospace parts in a variety of environments, ranging from machining/production floors to cleanroom areas.

    The Kit Cutter is responsible for following detailed work instructions to hand-cut or digitally machine-cut prepreg composite material preparing kits for layup and lamination. The Kit Cutter also maintains freezer inventory, ordering and stocking material and kits. This position operates in a clean room and must wear employer-provided personal protective equipment (PPE) while working.
